Terry Goddard II – Executive Director
Terry Goddard II, Executive Director for Aid
For AIDS (AFA), manages the operations of the largest provider of
direct financial service to those disabled by HIV/AIDS in Los
Angeles County – an agency that has provided uninterrupted service
since 1983. He has over fourteen years of experience in delivering
HIV and AIDS services, including the management of client services.
He has served as executive director of AFA since 2002.
Mr. Goddard is a member of the Mayor’s AIDS Leadership Council in
Los Angeles. He advises the Los Angeles Housing Department on
Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS program issues and
provides strategic planning assistance for the City of West
Hollywood.
In December of 2004, Mr. Goddard was awarded with the City of West
Hollywood’s Paul Starke Warrior Award – in recognition for his
noteworthy, consistent work to provide outstanding HIV support in
the community. Additionally, he has received recognition from Los
Angeles Mayor James Hahn for his leadership in creating and
coordinating initiatives that bring together City staff, housing
providers and AIDS support service organizations to assist
individuals in need of critical services.
Mr. Goddard
received his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in psychology
from Humboldt State University in Arcata, California.
